Amir Khan Open To Rematch With Marcos Maidana
Marcos Maidana walked away from boxing in 2014 and his last fight was a decision loss in a Floyd Mayweather rematch.
During the recent World Boxing Association (WBA) convention there were several online video conference calls and during one with Maidana and Khan, the Argentine said a rematch with his old rival Amir Khan was of interest to him.

“What do you think about giving me a rematch? It would be a good fight,” Maidana said during the video conference call.
“You were one of my toughest opponents and, in addition to everything that happened in that fight, I respect you very much. Of course, I would give you a rematch with one condition: that Alex Ariza be with me,” Khan replied.

The two last fought one another in December 2010 and the all action fight saw Khan drop Maidana in the first round. Khan dominated the early round before Maidana applied pressure in the latter rounds and had Khan in serious trouble. Amir Khan won a close unanimous decision and retain his WBA Super Lightweight World Title.
