The judges scorecards need checking, despite Jospeh Parker scoring three knockdowns and dominating much of the fight – the scorecards were 114-112, 115-110 and 115-111
Joseph Parker was punching with accuracy and power, and he hurt Chisora numerous times throughout the bout, but Dereck refused to give in. Whenever Chisora was badly hurt, he would retreat to a corner and incite Parker to attack so he counter him
There were rounds where Chisora lived up to his alas ‘WAR’ and brought the pressure and fight to Parker but it wasn’t enough. Parker was sharper and smarter with his work. BUT massive and huge respect to Chisora.
Joseph Parker will aim to continue his winning streak in the hope of becoming a two time heavyweight world champion – it will be interesting to see who he fights next
