Joshua vs Fury Is Mayweather Money – Biggest Fight Of All Time
During a recent live stream show on the DAZN and SiriusXM, Eddie Hearn stated that he believes a Joshua vs Fury fight will be one of the biggest boxing bouts ever and mega in terms of financial revenue.
“I think, you know a lot depends on the numbers around the fight, in terms of the revenue. You know, the site fees, the pay-per-view numbers, the international TV. But, you know, it’s certainly I think, you know, the biggest fight, the most lucrative fight, in boxing right now, unquestionably”

“That’s Mayweather money… You know? And we haven’t seen Mayweather money since Mayweather. So no fighter’s earned anywhere near that kind of money since and you know, this is the first time that, you know, fighters will be earning that kind of category of dollars. So, you know I think it’s impossible to give a number. There’s no set purses for this fight because, obviously it’s a revenue share. But it’s certainly gonna break records everywhere.”
“The truth is is, yes the terms are agreed. There’s still, you know, devil in the detail, couple of issues to iron out on the TV partners and, of course, where it’s gonna take place. But ultimately, the terms of the fight have been agreed. Both guys are training at the moment, you know, with the understanding that this will be the next fight for them”

“So whilst we can’t say the fight is signed, we can say that we’re closing in and it looks like both fighters are happy with the terms. Now we’ve gotta do I guess the real tough part, which is, you know making sure that it’s papered, it’s signed, and we can move forward and see where this huge fight’s gonna take place.”
“It’s gonna cost someone a lot of money. But it is gonna be one of the biggest fights of all time, so there’s a lot of interest in this fight.”
