
According to reports, a Oscar Valdez vs Shakur Stevenson fight is close to being finalised.

The bout will be a super-featherweight unification bout, with Valdez as the WBC champion and Stevenson the WBO champion.

Reported date and location is April 30th in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Both are undefeated champions – Valdez is 30-0 with 23 KO’s wins and Stevenson is 17-0 with 9 KO’s wins.

Oscar Valdez is a two weight world champion, having been the WBO champion at featherweight and is now the current WBC super-featherweight champion. Valdez is currently trained by Eddy Reynoso, notably known as Canelo Alvarez’s trainer.

Stevenson is also a two weight world champion, having been the WBO featherweight champion and is now the current WBO super featherweight champion. Stevenson won a silver medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016
