Tony Yoka kept his unbeaten record with a fairly dominant display against Belgian’s Joel Tambwe Djeko (17-3-1, 8 KO) and stopped him in the 12th and final round of their fight in Nantes, France

Yoka dominated every round and the fight was called off in the final round when Djeko turned his back and refused to fight on. Djeko displayed much fighting spirit during the fight but had trouble finding range and landing punches as Yoka was able to maneuver out of danger and counter him with punches.
It can be argued that Yoka hasn’t faced any tough competition thus far when you compare his record to Joe Joyce, whom he won a controversial decision over in the 2016 Olympic final. Yoka is under no pressure to follow a path and will have his own plan but eventually he will need to step up and face top 15 world ranked heavyweights and then we’ll see if he has world title caliber. Yoka will be a top contender and challenger without a doubt, can he win a world title
