Willy Hutchinson suffers shock KO defeat to Lennox Clarke. The boxer from the West Midlands Clarke, created an upset and won the vacant British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles with a savage punch combination to end the fight.
The highly touted Scotsman was brutally stopped in the 5th round and suffered a cut above his left eye before a right-left combination put him down. Referee Bob Williams was left with no other decision but to wave off the fight after Hutchinson looked staggered on his feet during a standing eight count
